Stuart D. Sidle, Ph.D.
Dr. Sidle is the Director of the Industrial/Organizational Psychology
program at the University of New Haven in Connecticut where he teaches
courses in Leadership, Motivation, Organizational Development and
Human Resource Management and consistently wins awards for excellence
in teaching. With more than 10 years experience as a consultant,
Stuart has worked with companies facing many different challenges
including overcoming resistance to change, improving personnel selection
systems, creating performance evaluation systems, and developing
leadership-training workshops. Dr. Sidle frequently facilitates
organizational development retreats and strategic planning meetings
for senior leaders of businesses, nonprofit agencies and universities.
Dr. Sidle received Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology
from DePaul University and a Masters Degree in Communications from
The American University.
Susan D. McMahon, Ph.D.
Dr. McMahon received her Ph.D. in Clinical and Community Psychology from DePaul University. She is currently an Assistant Professor at DePaul. Dr. McMahon specializes in evaluating school-based interventions in urban settings. She is currently directing and evaluating two violence prevention programs for low-income African American youth. Dr. McMahon teaches a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses at DePaul, including Program Evaluation, Behavior Problems in Children, Teenagers in Chicago: Risks, Dilemmas, & Resources, Human Development, and Community Psychology. She has given numerous presentations at local and national conferences, including the American Psychological Association. She has published in a variety of journals, including American Journal of Community Psychology, Health Education Research, and Journal of Psychology and the Behavioral Sciences.
